Happy Birthday Lily!!!

Lily turned one year old on September 3rd. We are having a birthday party next weekend but we had to have a little celebration on the actual day. Jaclyn found her a funny little bug cake with big eyes. Lily thought it was funny and enjoyed smearing icing ALL over herself.....the highchair.......Jaclyn....me......the dogs.....and of course the bathtub!!

Kleenex......my favorite!

Jaclyn came in one morning to find Lily discovered Kleenex! Apparently she reached over to her nightstand and removed them. Pulling them all out of the box is greatness!! Time for Mom and Dad to move that box of Kleenex!

Helping Mom load the dishwasher.......

After we all ate dinner one night Lily decided that she would be helpful and put some dishes in the dishwasher. She stood on the lid and everything we put in she would try to take out!!

Photographer part Deux!

We had Kristie Mills take some more pictures of Lily. We got some of her in her christening gown that we didn't get to do at the actual baptism. Kristie does a great job and gets some fun shots of Lily being her silly little self.

Baptism

Lily was Baptized on Sunday, May 17th. Lily was being very loud at the church but managed to stay calm when Pastor Clayton held her up. Luckily right before we were to go to the alter she got hungry. So we fed her and she was in her food induced coma by the time we got to the alter. LOL

We had a get together at our house afterward which was a lot of fun. It was great to get to visit with all the family that came in town. The first picture is of course of our immediate family. The second is of Aunt Laurie (my sister) and her son Brenden.

Dallas Arboretum

Jaclyn took Lily to the Dallas Arboretum to get pictures made with the bunny for Easter. They had a great time hanging out in the nice weather and the endless supply of flowers. Apparently this bunny has done this before because no matter what you did to it the thing never moved!!

LM & LP

A few weeks ago Allison came over with Lauren Margaret to visit with Jaclyn and Lily. Lily really likes visiting with her friend and cant wait until she can sit up with her and play.

Rice Cereal!!!

We were given the green light on rice cereal after the four month checkup. Lily does not like rice cereal so far!! I squeeze her cheeks to get it in her mouth and she looks at Jaclyn and I like we are crazy!!

Four Month Checkup

A few weeks ago we took Lily in for her four month checkup. She is doing really well and so far has not come down with any bugs. Her stats are below.

Weight - 15lbs 4oz (90th percentile)
Height - 25.5 inches (90th percentile)
Head - 43.5 (95th percentile)

As you can see she has done some growing. The biggest growth though has been in her personality. She smiles and laughs all the time. She loves to sleep on Mommy and wrestle with Daddy. She also likes to gab at us in the morning. She makes these cute cooing sounds and baby garble. Its awesome!!! I love that all i have to do is just look at her and she gets this BIG smile!

I am in so much trouble.......

First Christmas!!

We had a really great Christmas this year. The weekend before Christmas we went to Jacksonville to go see my parents (Nana and PawPaw). Then we went down to Fredericksburg to go see Jaclyn's parents (Dimmy and Grandaddy).

Both trips were really fun and a great break from work. Lily got to visit with all her cousins, aunts and uncles. Lily was really funny Chrismas morning all decked out in her holiday gear.

We got to take a little break from Lily at one point and go visit a winery in Fredericksburg. It was a lot of fun for Jaclyn and I to get out together but within a few hours we were really missing her.

The photographer

Before Christmas Jaclyn and I had a lady come over to the house and take some pictures of all of us. We got some great shots of Lily!!

Halloween

Well its been so long since my last update that i am adding Halloween photos!!! Sad....i know. Jaclyn and I dressed Lily in her "boo" shirt. She didn't know what to think about all those people coming over to our house and knocking on the door. The dogs knew what to do though.....bark...bark....bark. We went over for a little while and visited with our new neighbors Staci and Jon. They are pregnant and having a little girl as well!
