Progress Update

Before I sign off after all the updating I wanted to share the progress and expected delivery.

Sunday August 3rd started Jaclyn's 36th week of pregnancy. Our scheduled due date is August 31st. She went to the OB Tuesday of this week for her weekly checkup and everything is looking good. Lily is head down like she is supposed to be and all the vitals are fine.

Jaclyn is very tired right now no matter how much sleep she gets. Its hard for her to find a comfortable position and she goes to the bathroom every five minutes :)

That being said we both feel truly blessed to have had such an uneventful pregnancy up to this point.

Lily's Room

Well we have been working hard and have finally got the room the way we want it. Above is a picture of her crib and accessories. I know its a big shocker here but I had nothing to do with picking out the hot pink flowers........
or the pink gingham recliner.......

I did however help pick out the furniture.
The banner was hand painted by a family friend. She did this painting by the way without ever seeing our room....scary how well it matches

Here is a picture of her bathroom. In the corner you can see a very cool invention by my sister Laurie. She had the girls write notes on each of the "flowers" at Jaclyn's shower. It turned out great and has some funny words of wisdom.

Dog Pictures

Well of course I had to add pictures of the dogs. This is a great picture of Izzy. As you can see she has what we call "Kentucky teeth." I am from East Texas and even we don't see them this bad......well.......

This is a picture of Rosy. She is almost three now and thinks she is the queen of the house. Oh how her life is about to change.

Well apparently its been a long day full of sleeping.....barking at cars....sleeping.....eating....sleeping.....barking at cars. Its a difficult life but someone has to do it. As you can tell they are very modest as well.....nope don't like to show the parts!

Lily Paige

I think I have told most of you but for the record we are having a girl. Her name will be Lily Paige Weidenbach.

Lily - We looked at a bunch of books but in the end couldn't resist the name Lily. Matt & Stephanie have good taste in names.....what can I say :) (we like the name Camille as well LOL)

Paige - This is Jaclyn's middle name which I have always liked.

The hits keep coming!

We haven't taken that many pictures of Jaclyn being pregnant due to her disdain for the way she thinks she looks.......and we are terrible about taking pictures. We will have to fix that soon!

Finally an update!!!!!

So I finally decided to add something to the blog. This is a picture from our sonogram back in June. A lot has changed since then but at least you get to see some progress.
